All-New Hyundai i20 Launching in June 2020 in India

Korean automaker, Hyundai is readying a wide range of new products for the Indian market. The much-awaited Hyundai Aura subcompact sedan is scheduled to be launched on January 21, while the second-gen Creta SUV will debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. Hyundai is also readying the new-generation i20 hatchback, which has already been spotted testing several times on Indian roads.
The next-gen Hyundai i20 will retain the original styling of the existing model and while there will be many new details, the overall look will be similar to that of the outgoing car. It will get a fresher and wider iteration of Hyundai’s trademark cascading grille design, flanked by upward-swooping headlamps. The next-gen Hyundai i20 will remain sub-4 meter in length for the Indian market. Inside the cabin, the 2020 Hyundai i20 will come with a digital instrument console, large touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, power windows, etc. Expect the new i20 to come with a long list of creature comforts and equipment, along with the Hyundai BlueLink system.
The next-gen Hyundai i20 will be offered with 3 engine options – a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel. Transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
